Who are we?
This statement (hereinafter referred to as the "statement") is intended to inform you about the way that we, Max. Aarts, with a branch in the Netherlands housed at Marssteden 55-57, Enschede and with company number 06079830 (hereinafter referred to as “we”), collect personal data.
Unless otherwise indicated, we are responsible for processing personal data that we collect within the scope of our services and activities. We are thus the so-called "controller", that is, the person who establishes the objective of and resources for the processing of personal data.

Which personal data do we collect?

We do not collect or process sensitive data, such as data about race or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, physical or mental health or sexual orientation. If such personal data are provided to us, we will not use these and will delete them.
Our website and/or service does not have the intention of collecting or processing personal data about persons younger than 16 years of age.
How do we obtain your personal data?
Your personal data can be collected in various ways, including when:

- You take part in an event (trade show) or activity organised by Max. Aarts.

If we do this, we ask these third parties to confirm that the information was legitimately received and that we have the right to use the data we received from them.

What is the legal basis for our processing of personal data?

With whom do we share your personal data?
We will not share your personal data with third parties, unless (i) we have received prior consent for this from you, (ii) we are obligated to do this within the scope of a regulation or legal procedure or (iii) we are requested to do this by a legislative or judicial authority.
Additionally, we commission certain subcontractors, such as ICT companies for the maintenance and administration of our websites, consultancies and marketing firms, in order to outsource some of our services to them. These subcontractors are not considered third parties. We conclude a processor agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf so as to guarantee the same level of security and monitor the confidentiality of your data.
We ensure that these subcontractors undertake the necessary technical and organisational measures for legitimately processing your personal data and do not disclose the data to third parties under any circumstances.

We process and save your personal data in the Netherlands, or in another country where our service providers have facilities. It is also our clear intention to ensure that your personal data remain within the European Union.

We only save your personal data as long as this is necessary for the processing purposes specified in this statement. Your personal data will also be saved and used as long as this is necessary to fulfil our legal obligations, settle disputes or enforce agreements.
